Go to
my account (top right corner of Hunting page). You are on
the Login page. Look for Forget your user name or password?
No problem. We'll e-mail it to you. (in the middle of the
page). Click on email;
enter the email address on your account; click submit. The
system will send your username/password via email. It may take more
than a few minutes depending on the number of requests at that
time. Please be patient. If you have SPAM blocker on

number of requests at that time. Please be patient. If you
have SPAM blocker on your email then please disable it or look in
your SPAM or junk or trash file for an email from "web guys".
If you do not receive an email response within 2 hours, then there
is a problem. Contact Brandon Anderson at (770) 761-3045 or
brandon.anderson@dnr.state.ga.us.
Q: My password that you sent me doesn't
work. What's wrong?
Please type the
username/password EXACTLY as they appear between the astericks in
the email you received from our system (both the username and
passowrd are preceded and followed by 3 astericks. If there
are 4 astericks then one is part of either the username or
password). You are attempting to access a secure website and
you must enter your username/password in the same case (capital or
lower case) as they appear in your username/password email from web
guys. Also include any spaces that your username/password may
have.
Q: I want to
reset my password. How do I do that?
Click on
my account (top right corner of Hunting page). You are on
the Login page. Login to your account. On the Manage Your
Account Information page, click on Change Account Password and
follow instructions.
Q: I am attempting to Create a Login Account
and when I put my information into the system and click continue
the system says:
That social security number already exists in our database.
OR
You do not appear to have any information in our system. Please
follow the instructions on the left. OR
That name and birthday already exists in our database.
You already have an account in our system.
However, the account is lacking some vital personal information or
such information is inconsistent. Please contact Brandon
Anderson at (770) 761-3045 or brandon.anderson@dnr.state.ga.us
with your contact information or if you feel comfortable
with email then send your FULL NAME, DATE OF BIRTH, and
SSN. After we have updated your account, you will then be
able to gain access.
Q: How can I already have an account? I never
set one up myself.
You were automatically entered into our system if you
applied for any of the 2005-2006 season Quota Hunts. You may
also be in the system from a hunter education course, boat
registration, purchasing a license through our website or receiving
a citation.
Q: I have rejection notices from
previous seasons. How do I add those priority points to my
account?
Rejection notices should be mailed to:
QUOTA HUNTS
Attn: Brandon C. Anderson
Wildlife Resources Division, GADNR
2065 US Hwy 278 SE
Social Circle, GA 30025
(Please enclose a note with your FULL NAME/DOB/SSN and contact
information.)
Q: How do we apply as a
party?
A party application must have ONE person to act as
Administrator for the party application. The administrator
will apply for the entire party through his/her account. The
administrator selects the hunt choices and allocates the priority
points for the party and then clicks save. This will activate
the Add a Friend feature on the left column. Add each party
member by clicking on Add a Friend and entering the LAST NAME (in
the first box) and SSN (in the second box) of a party member and
clicking find. The system will add them to the hunt and their
names will appear in the left column as they are added.
Remember: ALL party members must have the same number of priority
points allocated to the hunt.
Q: I'm trying to Add a Friend and the
system won't let me add a certain person. I have added other people
with no problem. It keeps telling stating: Sorry, no
hunter was found on record with that last name and SSN..
What is wrong?
That person either does not have an account or has an
incomplete account and must be added or updated in our
system. Contact us at (770) 761-3045 or brandon.anderson@dnr.state.ga.us
to update.
Q: What about priority points for PARTY
applications?
Every party member must "allocate" the same number of
priority points to a party hunt. You can only "allocate" as
many points as the party member with the LEAST number of
points. For instance, if a party has a member with "0" points
then everyone in the party MUST allocate "0" to the hunt.
Q: How do I submit my Quota Hunt
application?
Click "save" after you have selected your hunt choices
and allocated priority points (if you have them) and then click
"save" again after adding friends (if you are submitting a party
application). This will submit your application.
Potential applicants who wait until the last day,
or few days, before trying to apply could have technical isses that
ultimately may result in them missing the application
deadline. So, please help yourself avoid this unfortunate
circumstances by applying early; please do not
procrastinate.
Q: I clicked 'save' more than once on my
Quota Hunt application. Is that ok?
Don't worry. It is not possible to submit your
application more than once.
Q: I want to review my application or make
changes to my application. How do I do that?
You have the ability to access your acount 24 hours a
day and 7 days a week. You can review your applications
through the "Manage Quota Hunt Applications" link within your
account. You may make changes to your any application at any
time prior to the deadline for that particular quota hunt.
Q: How will I know if I am
selected?
You will receive an email from our system after the
drawing that will let you know if you were selected or
not. You can also go to www.gohuntgeorgia.com and
click on Hunting; then click on Quota Hunts & Information;
finally click on Did You Get
Drawn for One of Georgia's Quota Hunts? .

Hunt this season BUT I really want add a priority point for the
next season. What can I do?
