Give Wildlife a Chance Poster Contest
Contest AwardsCertificates: Educators may request Give Wildlife a Chance certificates for all students who participate in their local school competition. There is no limit to the number of certificates a participating school can receive. Ribbons: Educators may request first, second and third place ribbons to present to class, grade level or school group participants. There is no limit to the number of ribbons a participating school can receive State-level Award: All first, second and third place state level winners’ artwork will be showcased in the Give Wildlife a Chance Poster Contest school-year calendar and distributed to schools and education centers across Georgia. All state level contest winners will be on display for the general public during the weekends of April 20-May 7, 2012 at the Go Fish Education Center located in Perry, Georgia. All teachers and parents are encouraged to bring your students to the Go Fish Georgia Education Center to see the winning artwork on display and enjoy an adventurous day exploring the center’s live fish exhibits, interactive fishing and boating simulators and view some of Georgia’s diverse aquatic wildlife, including live alligators! The center can be reserved for educational outreach programs Tuesday through Thursday. Call Michael Fulghum at 478-988-6715 to schedule your school group.
